MYRTLE CREEK LIONS CHILLI COOK OFF Southern Oregon Regional and Oregon Tribal Regional Chilli Cook off will be held at Seven Feathers Resort in Canyonville June 28 and 29 The Myrtle Creek Lions has issued a chalange to all service clubs to enter a peoples choice chilli.. Call 541-863-5003.

Concerts in the Park Shows will run from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in Myrtle Creek's Millsite Park. The music will play every Thursday night in July and August except July 24, which is during the towns summer festival and August 14, which falls during county fair week.
There is also a 50 /50 drawing at 7:25 during each performance and refreshment to buy. Figaros Pizza Slices $ 2.00 a slice Pepsi $ .50 a can Umpqua Dairy Ice Cream Bars $ .50 each
All proceeds go to South Douglas Food Bank and Safe Place for Kids

Riddle Sawdust Festival July 4, this annual 4th of July celebration boasts South County's largest fireworks display and offers entertainment with an old fashioned twist. Past events have included horse- drawn wagon rides and a re-enactment of an old west shoot out.  RV parking is available at Millsite park. Eleven paved 60' spaces with full hookup. Also ,there are several tent spaces. There are rest rooms with showers. The fees are $13.00 a night for RV and $6.00 for dry camp. Fee for shower $1.00. Septic dump station fee is $3.00. No reservations required. The park is located off I-5 exit #108, In Myrtle Creek, on 4th Street next to the South Umpqua river. There is a nature trail along Myrtle Creek. Baseball and Soccer fields. Band shell and picnic tables.
